The 3rd Annual 25th Anniversa-G Concert

Third times the charm. After the third year of planning for a 25th anniversary concert, we were finally able to have one in person, and what a concert it was! After months of preparation, the G’s sang some classics and some new arrangements.

We have to give a shout out to our incredible alumni base. There were over 40 alumni that came to Ann Arbor to celebrate a quarter century of G-Men! Before the concert, G’s young and old communed at the Original Cottage Inn for a banquet. Graduated G’s recalled the stories of their college days and current G’s were proud to share what the group has accomplished in the past few years.

After a long and busy semester, the G’s were able to sing 10 songs, including some old ones. Michigan came back for this concert for the first time since the Fall of 2019. We were honored to invite Brian, Adreesh, David, and Nick up to the stage with us to sing Michigan since they never were able to sing it for their graduation concerts. Shout out to the new G’s who had to learn in in just a few rehearsals.

As is tradition, the concert ended with our alumni song, HOSAL. 40 alumni packed in on the Rackham stage so we could make animal noises for the audience. In all seriousness, it was an amazing concert, and we will be missing our graduating member, Spencer, very much next year.
