Do I have to be a music major?
Absolutely not! Our group has a mix of majors including computer science, biochemistry, playwriting, film, and more!
What is the time commitment?
We rehearse three times a week, twice for 2.5 hours and once for 2 hours. We also regularly have gigs both in the Ann Arbor area and across the nation. We put on concerts in the fall and spring semesters, as well as a variety show during Parent's Weekend in the fall. We spend plenty of time together and we love every minute of it!
Do you travel?
Yes! Every spring break, we go on TOUR. Check out the tour blog to learn more! We also travel to colleges and cities around the country to perform. In recent years, we've traveled to Notre Dame, the University of Virginia, San Francisco and New York City.
What/When are auditions?
Auditions are held every September at the beginning of fall semester and occasionally in January depending on group size. Auditions take about 5 minutes and consist of a vocal warmup/range exercise, verse and chorus from a song of your choice, OPTIONAL sight reading (no sight reading or music experience required!!), and lots of fun. Please keep tabs on our social media and auditions page for announcements and more information regarding auditions.
